Daytime Visit

Please come and enjoy an unique daytime experience at Golgulsa temple!!
You can participate in Morning Sunmudo training, Tea ceremony with Buddhist monk over tea, taste temple cuisine, Sitting Meditation or Archery and watch a performance by the Devas Guardians Sunmudo team.

Every Sunday, there are no Morning Sunmudo training and Sitting Meditation or Archery session.

The experience is open to all of the people.
individual or groups such as schools and companies, & ect.

What to prepare

▶ Check in : 1:00 pm / Check out : 12:30 pm ▶ We serve 3meals from on arrival dinner & programs. ▶ What to bring : your own T-SHIRT / SOCKS / TOWEL / TOILETRIES/ WATER BOTTLE /COMFORTABLE CLOTHES AND SNEAKS/ HAIR DRIER We provide Templestay Uniforms, a pants and vest, for experiencing Sunmudo.

Regulation



  • ▶ No smoking, No alcohol, No eating meat and No making a louder at the temple compound.
    If you are found smoking, you will be asked to leave without a refund and be fined 100,000 KRW according to the Korean Smocking Law.

    ▶ Basically, we segregate males and females of using accommodation.
    Therefore, they can’t use together a room. Each room is equipped with bath room. .

Bus No: 100 / 100-1 / 150 (Taking 50 mins)
Get off “Andong/Girimsa/Golgusa (안동/기림사/골굴사).” There is a T-junction. You cross the road and go straight along with the street about 10~15 mins on foot.

Bus needs to transfer once & takes about 1.5 hrs.
Bus No: 50, 51, 60, 70 & 700. Get off at Express Bus Terminal
